(NO DIALOGUE)

This video shows children in a school hall performing elements from Dance 2. Specialist teacher Jane Bower stands at the front of the hall, giving directions by means of gestures.

The second part of the dance shows a scene from the battle of Edington, being fought by the Viking King Guthrum against the Wessex King, Alfred, whose land Guthrum wants to take over. One of Guthrum's finest leaders is felled by the sword. The Vikings carry him to his ship, place items for his journey to Valhalla in the boat with him, and bury both ship and body.
