Abstract: | The sermon focuses on the account in John's Gospel of Jesus' prayer that God's name would be glorified (John 12:20-33). This prayer represets the only account of a prayer of Jesus being answered audibly by God. The sermon concludes that there if the church is to restore the place of prayer in its life there is a need for Christians to pray in the company of Jesus and there is a need for the church to glorify God. |
