Abstract: I will discuss some aspects of cosmic superstrings, related to their formation, nature, evolution and decay mechanisms. In particular, I will discuss the successful and theoretically consistent brane inflation models leading to cosmic superstrings, the dynamics of junctions and the channels of decay mechanisms of cosmic superstrings, which are very important for cosmological/observational consequences.
