Abstract: A new infinite class of self-dual translation invariant spin ½ systems will be introduced. (Two systems of this class are known to be solvable: Baxter-Wu triangular model and Union Jack model.) Conjectures about distribution of zeros of partition functions of finite volume systems of this class will be formulated. Numerical and rigorous results supporting the conjectures, and connection with the theory of self-dual cyclic codes, will be discussed.
