Abstract: | There exist special two-dimensional conformal field theories with large, sporadic symmetry groups. In several cases these CFTs also have superconformal symmetry and the construction of the supercurrent can be understood using the theory of quantum error correcting codes. In this talk I will explain this connection and suggest some problems that may be of interest to mathematicians |
