Abstract: | It is well known that groups occur naturally in many branches of mathematics, which thereby benefit from Group Theory. In my talk I plan to show how various branches of mathematics contribute to classical as well as recent advances in Group Theory, and help solving various open problems and conjectures. These branches include Probability, Lie Theory, Representation Theory, Number Theory and Algebraic Geometry. |
