Abstract: | Benjamini, Schramm and Timar introduced the notion of "separation profile" for a graph or finitely generated group. I will discuss a family of invariants that generalise this idea, examples of the values obtained and applications to non-embedding results. Joint work with David Hume and Romain Tessera. |
