Abstract: | The BCJ double copy relating perturbative scattering amplitudes in Yang-Mills and gravity theories has received a great deal of attention, and hints at a deeper, nonperturbative, relationship. This talk will review recent work on relating exact classical solutions in Yang-Mills theory and gravity, including familiar black holes as special cases. Furthermore, by considering radiating particles, I will provide strong evidence that this classical double copy is directly related to the BCJ story for amplitudes. |
