Abstract: I will present recent results on the stability of periodic travelling wave solutions to the full water wave problem, mainly focusing on highfrequency instabilities. I will outline the numerical scheme used to compute the solutions for gravity-capillary waves as well as the numerical method to determine the spectral stability of these solutions.
