Abstract: Singular sources type of reconstruction scheme is given for active thermography to identify unknown inclusions in known media. The media can be anisotropic and inhomogeneous. If the media are isotropic and the conductivities of background known media are less conductive, then it is also possible to reconstruct the conductivities of inclusions at their boundaries. However, if the conductivities of background known media are more conductive, the scheme cannot always give the reconstruction of the conductivities of inclusions at their boundaries.
